This was my fourth surgery so when I was released early from the hospital, we weren’t surprised. I felt good and was walking around.

As we pull into my driveway, my mom looks back at me and I’m a mom classy boujee ratchet my kids are sassy shirt of my pupils was completely dilated. We go back to the emergency room where they panic. They thought I had a bleed on the brain. As they are taking me back for emergency surgery, one nurse was next to me asking me questions. She asked all about the surgery, how it went, what happened after. I think it was to keep me calm. She asked about how I felt after the surgery and I said I was very nauseous and that they put a seasick patch on the back of my ear. As soon as I said that, the nurse stood up and yelled to all the doctors prepping for surgery to stop what they were doing.
